Are Emile Henry products oven and microwave safe?
Yes, all our ceramic products are designed to withstand high temperatures and are safe for use in the oven, microwave, and dishwasher.
Can I use my ceramic baker directly on the stovetop?
Most of our items are for oven use only. However, our Flame® technology line is specifically designed for use on all direct heat sources, including gas, electric, and halogen stovetops.
Is the glaze scratch-resistant?
Our high-resistance glaze is extremely hard, allowing you to cut directly inside the dish with metal utensils without scratching the surface.
How should I clean my Emile Henry cookware?
Our ceramics are dishwasher safe. For burnt-on food, soak the dish in hot water and white vinegar before placing it in the dishwasher or hand washing.

Every piece of Emile Henry cookware is proudly made in Marcigny, France, using local Burgundy clay since 1850.
